Moving On

Max has moved on to veggies and fruit and he loves them. So far he's tried sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peaches and bananas. He didn't care much for the peaches or the squash but he ate them. I think the peaches were to bitter and the squash just tasted bland. We also decided that it was time to move Max to his high chair. He seems to really enjoy his big boy chair and seems to eat much better and faster. I'm going to attempt to make some homemade baby food this weekend. It doesn't seem like it would be to hard and it will save us some money, which is always good. Max has also been sleeping through the night since I've added a veggie with his evening cereal. Hooray for more sleep! ~J

Where Does the Time Go?

So what has Max been up to? A lot of things! I can't believe how fast everything is happening! Like earlier this week Max was having tummy time and then the following day he was pushing himself up.  It's like he developed super arm strength over night! It must of been those sweet potatoes. Besides that exciting milestone, Max is growing like a weed! He weighs around 16 pounds and has been wearing 6 month clothes since  he was 4 months old. His sleepers are starting to get tight it the feet. I told Mike we should of bought the footless ones :) Max is finally starting to grow some of his hair back. It still looks dark but maybe not as dark as it was when he was first born, we'll see. I can hardly wait to see what he'll look like with more hair. For awhile now whenever Max wants to get your attention he'll fake cough. He thinks it is funny and knows it gets our attention. Every day is new and exciting and we don't know what it will bring!~J

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Saturday evening. We went to my Dad's union's St. Patty's Day dinner. Max loved the new environment and withstood being passed around from lady to lady without crying. He is such a curious little guy! He refused to sleep while we were there and enjoyed listening to the music and staring at the dance lights and disco ball. He was so tuckered out, as soon as I laid him down he fell fast asleep. ~J

5 Months Old Today!!!

Max turned 5 months old today. He really is enjoying the time he
spends playing on the floor. Max likes to play with his feet and roll
around all over. Talking and and rolling from his back to
his stomach and to his back again. Talking away like there is no
tomorrow. Cooing and squealing, drooling and farting seem to be
Max's favorite thing to do. ~M

I bet you can't do this!

Happy Feet

Within the past week Max has been figuring out how to work his toys a little better. The other day I had my camera close by and caught him playing with his toy in a new way, with his feet. Who needs hands when you can play with your feet! J
